About me
I graduated with my Master’s Degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz in May of 2018. I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from James Madison University in May of 2016.
My PhD research has focused on the unique role shared music preferences plays in interpersonal attraction. I have also been researching group singing during the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. My other research interests include sexual selection, mate preferences, origins of intelligence, and music’s place in evolutionary history.
In addition, I have helped to plan and implement a project known as the Ancestor’s Trail USA, which is based off of the book The Ancestor’s Tale by Richard Dawkins.
